In Archaeology on June 12, 2009 at 19:59

The case has been dragging on and now, after almost five years, the Tel Aviv antiquities collector Oded Golan is still pretty confident he will be acquitted of all charges regarding the forging of the James Ossuary. Read the whole report here. I have also posted on the trial before (click  here).

There is also an excellent YouTube which features the man himself which you can view below.

  1. –” There is a thin layer of patina – it’s a thin layer of crust made actually by a micro-organism that was developed inside the grooves of the inscription and this product made by the micro-organism could not have been developed in less than a hundred years.”

I am so glad to have stumbled on your blog posts. You keep presenting some wonderful jewels :-)
