I like it just fine. I must say, the more I stand and look, the more I believe that too many miss the beauty of liturgical practices.
Fifteen years ago, I told my husband that sooner or later liturgy and deep, real transforming relationships would have to return to the church or youth would stop attending. I could add to that the hymns who’s words and beauty far surpass many of today’s praise songs. Interestingly, it seems that many boomers (who came up with the praise songs) are leaving the church for the same reasons: lack of depth in worship and relationships (in addition to being written off as too old).
